Homage to Tito Schipa

It seems that Tito Schipa was so attached to his city that, a few days before the Lecce patron saint's day, wherever he was, he would go into a frenzy and do everything in his power to never let the dates of a concert coincide with those days, so that he could return 'home' and take part in it. To the golden uvula of the theatres of the 1930s, 'the nightingale of Lecce', still considered the greatest tenor of grace, the 47th edition of the Opera Season of Tradition of the Province of Lecce dedicates the symphonic opera concert 'Homage to Tito Schipa', which recalls his greatest interpretations.
