Fiato alla banda/ Wind Orchestra of the Conservatorio Tito Schipa

It is dedicated to love and sacred themes with the performance of original compositions in the concert "Fiato alla banda" that enlivens the spaces of the church of Sant'Irene as part of the "I concerti del Conservatorio" festival promoted by the Tito Schipa Conservatory of Lecce. Performing is the Tito Schipa Conservatory Wind Orchestra conducted by maestro Giovanni Pellegrini. On the setlist, pieces by composers Jacob De Haan and James Curnow will alternate with transcriptions of Ennio Morricone's soundtracks and waltz themes by Dmítrij Šostakóvič without neglecting Giuseppe Verdi's Nabucco. "Every love has its own soundtrack," emphasises Domenico Zizzi, the concert's coordinating lecturer, "just as every music is inspired by a feeling: in this swirling and endless exchange, the authors have the difficult task of translating the ancient bond that unites man and music into notes".
