European Film Festival/What remains of Europe

A visual and aural journey through the Mediterranean, in search of the founding myth of Europe, the conquest of harmony through song and music. A great dream of peace and union broken by wars. At the Castromediano Museum, as part of the European Film Festival, the screen will light up with the concert film 'Cosa rimane di Europa' (What remains of Europe) by Alessandro Scillitani, a projection accompanied by stories, music and songs, which tells the story of Europe, which from the Greek islands, the roots of the myth, crosses Sarajevo, the trigger point of the First World War and the scene of the wars of a few decades ago, and which goes as far as Lviv, crossing Ukraine, which already in 2014 showed tensions and scars. To follow, an aperitif accompanied by the notes of Roberto Gagliardi's saxophone and Alessandro Casciaro's keyboard.
