Easter Festival

"Chamber music is young" is the slogan accompanying the first edition of the Easter Festival organised by the Opera Prima Music Association, under the artistic direction of Ludovica Rana. A "triduum" of concerts, in the little theatre of the former Convitto Palmieri, that is also a hymn to chamber music represented by some absolute masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire imbued with the spirit, the vitality, the inspirations of the great chamber music of the Romantic period. Performing the precious repertoire is a chamber orchestra of young talents: Calogero Palermo, clarinet; Adorno Quartet (Edoardo Zosi violin, Liù Pelliciari violin, Benedetta Bucci viola, Stefano Cerrato cello); Gabriele Ceci, violin; Maddalena Giacopuzzi, piano; Angerlo Santo Loisi, double bass; Lorenzo Lombardo, viola; Ludovica Rana, cello; Riccardo Zamuner, violin; together with a group of students from the 'N. Piccinni' Conservatory of Music in Bari. The first evening will feature performances of Mendelssohn's 'Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 40', and 'Op. 22', and 'Op. 44', by Dvořák.
