Dischi Parlanti/ Blumosso e Raf Qu

The first appointment of 2023 with "Dischi Parlanti," a music review dedicated to bands and artists from the Apulian indie scene, features Blumosso and Raf Qu. Blumosso is Simone Perrone, a singer-songwriter class of '87 born and raised in the province of Lecce. He studied piano and wrote his first songs at age 15, inspired by the great Italian singer-songwriters. Since 2016 he has been approaching a more mature type of writing, mixing indie sounds with modern Italian songwriting. In 2018 he dropped his name to become Blumosso. "Lefrasiincompiutedielena," on the other hand, is the project of Salento guitarist and writer Raf Qu. This musical reality was born in Rome in September 2017. With a degree in classical composition, his sound features many echoes of English music and at the same time of Italian songwriting. Both present their new works: "The Battle of Swabia" for Blumosso, released on Jan. 12, and "La Belle Époque" for Raf Qu, out just today in the container "Lefrasiincompiedielena." The evening opens with a live performance by Stefano Scorrano, a young singer-songwriter from Parabita, preceded by interviews with the artists, conducted by Radio Wau.
