Coro Lirico di Lecce / Omaggio a Maria Callas

In 1923 the city of New York gave birth to the most famous soprano in the world. From the difficulties of the beginning to the golden years at La Scala in Milan: for the centenary of her birth, the cloister of the Teatini becomes the stage for "Omaggio a Maria Callas". Organized by the musical association "Coro lirico di Lecce", the concert accompanies the public among the successes of the Italian-American soprano, in the opera arias that made her famous all over the world. The soprano voice is Silvia Rosato Franchini, the mezzo-soprano is Marinella Rizzo, the tenor is Antonio Pellegrino. Together with the protagonists, the White Voices of the Coro Lirico di Lecce and the master Ekland Hasa on the piano are also on stage. The direction is entrusted to the master Vincenza Baglivo.
