Conservatory Concerts/ Osmosi tra popolare e colto  

Transcriptions from the classical repertoire for various ensembles are an effective means of knowledge and dissemination in vast and varied social contexts. This is how the main compositions of the great opera composers and the great masterpieces of cultured music reach the general public. The event in the public gardens is 'Osmosis between popular and cultured', a concert with Giulio Büttner (piano), Beatrice Mariella Macchia (piano), Antonio Magione (opera singing), Laura Martignano (flute), Giulia Anna Montinaro (flute), Paolo Sergio (piano), Antonio Sicuro (piano) and Giada Sturdà (soprano). The music belongs to Verdi, Liszt, Poulenc and Ginastera, while the transcriptions are by Borne, Galli and Doppler on operatic themes.
