Conservatory concerts/ Interc(h)ordas

Representing an effective tool for the knowledge and dissemination of the classical repertoire in a wide and heterogeneous sphere is the review "I concerti del Conservatorio," curated by the faculty and students of the Tito Schipa Conservatory, in collaboration with the Culture and Entertainment Departments of the City of Lecce. The main compositions of the most famous operas and the great masterpieces of cultured music reach the general public outdoors, in the informal setting of the Teatini cloister. The first appointment for the conservatory's summer season is with "Interc(h)ordas," a concert for string quartet, harp and guitar. On stage Antonella Defrenza and Francesco Sabato on violin, Marcello Baldassarre on viola, Rosa Andriulli on cello, Alessandra Targa on harp and Stefano Sergio Schiattone on guitar. On the setlist are compositions by Claude Debussy, Maximo Diego Pujol, Èrik Marchelie, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Roland Dyens.
