Conservatory Concerts/European Music Day

"Live life!" is the claim of the 2023 Music Festival that closes the "I concerti del Conservatorio" series of the "Tito Schipa" Conservatory, directed by maestro Giovanni Pellegrini. With "Danzano parole e note" the 29th edition of the European Music Festival is celebrated in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecce and Ama (Mediterranean Academy of Actors) by performing compositions by Georg Friedrich Händel, Igor Stravinsky, Leonard Bernstein, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Every year, the day of the summer solstice marks the appointment with the Music Festival, which since 2016 the Italian Ministry of Culture has been promoting throughout the country, open to all musical expressions without hierarchy of genres, sharing the message of culture, participation, integration, harmony and universality. The performance, between music and words, ranges from late Baroque to 19th century sacred music, late Romanticism to Renaissance pieces, neoclassicism to operetta, all interspersed with narrative interventions
