Concerts with aperitifs/ Rosario Mastroserio

Rosario Mastroserio, internationally considered among the best interpreters of Astor Piazzolla's music, and 'Improvisation on the Piano'. In his live performance, the musician from Foggia creatively elaborates and restores in a new guise some immortal melodies by George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and Astor Piazzolla. A music of great charm, in which one finds the melancholic tenderness of South America and all the disruptive force of some North American melodies, the sensuality of the rhythms and sounds of the vibrant Latin South and the irreverent sounds of the States. A journey through the culture and musical language of the new world, without ever losing touch with the original cultural imprint of the old continent. Tunes by Gershwin, Ellington and Piazzolla are played with an almost jazz-like language, based on improvisation, which Mastroserio considers a real gateway to interpretation. At the end of the live performance, an aperitif is enjoyed in the company of the musicians, with whom it is possible to talk informally about the performance just listened to.
