Concerts with aperitifs/ Duo Synaistisia

For its 53rd concert season, the Camerata Musicale Salentina presents the fourth of five Sunday 'Concerts with aperitifs'. The protagonist of the matinee will be the Duo Synaistisia, namely Cristian Musio on viola and Gabriele De Carlo on piano. Cristian Musio holds the position of first viola with the Orchestra of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, with whom he has performed under the direction of David Coleman, Zubin Mehta, Michele Mariotti. Gabriele De Carlo not only holds a diploma in piano from the Conservatorio 'Tito Schipa' in Lecce with top marks and honours, but also a degree in instrument teaching from the Conservatorio di Monopoli 'Nino Rota'. Together they offer a monographic repertoire, dedicated to the violist Rebecca Clarke, one of the most elegant composers of the 20th century. British naturalised American, she is the author of some of the most successful chamber works for viola and piano. At the end of the concert, audience and musicians enjoy an aperitif together, prolonging the pleasure of the music just shared.
