Concerts with aperitifs/ Accordincanto

For its 54th concert season, the Camerata musicale salentina offers the fourth of its 'Concerti con aperitivo'. The Sunday matinee will feature the Duo Accordincanto, formed by the Salentine Vincenzo Maria Sarinelli, a lyric tenor with international experience, and Alessandro Gazza, an accordion virtuoso of classical extraction. The concert is a musical journey through classics of different musical genres, presented in original arrangements, telling the story of belcanto and the last two centuries of cultured music. The programme begins with the Italian pride of opera, with arias by Pietro Mascagni and Ruggero Leoncavallo, and then leads the audience into the passionate atmosphere of the Argentine tango of Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel, to the soundtracks of Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota, and finally to the timeless Neapolitan song, with songs from the great tradition. At the end of the performance, the artists will entertain the audience for a tasty aperitif together and to exchange their respective impressions of the concert.
