Camerata Musicale Salentina/ Requiem for the living

The 54th edition of the Camerata Musicale Salentina's concert season opens with a preview with free admission. Waiting for the opening concert on 29 October, the appointment, for melomaniacs, is with the music of Dan Forrest, a well-known and award-winning American composer, born in 1978, endowed with a superb choral writing, rich in emotional cues. The first part of the evening features the 'Pater Noster', a work dedicated to Pope Francis and commissioned in 2019 by the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation of Solomeo. In the second part the famous "Requiem for the living" (2013) for soloists, choir and small orchestra. The concert stars the Canticum Novum choir from Solomeo, the Perugia Chamber Orchestra, soprano Klara Lužnik, tenor Feiye Wang and organist Margherita Sciddurlo. Conductor: Maestro Fabio Ciofini.
