Camerata Musicale Salentina/ Guido Di Leone and Pocket Orchestra

It starts with 1930s Swing and closes with Bossa Nova. It is a special evening, and also the last of the 54th season of the Camerata Musicale Salentina, held at the Apollo and featuring two guests and two different but not too different genres on stage. Guitarist Guido Di Leone is backed by his Pocket Orchestra: Mike Rubini on alto sax, Francesco Lomangino on tenor sax and flute, Alberto Di Leone on trumpet, Antonio Fallacara on trombone, Gianluca Fraccalvieri on bass, Fabio Delle Foglie on drums and Enzo Falco on percussion. The rhythms and sounds are those drawn from Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Horace Silver, Charlie Parker, Jim Hall and Freddie Hubbard. In the second part, the show veers into Bossa nova with "Querida" and the persuasive voice of Francesca Leone that ranges from Jobim to Joyce from Toquinho to Veloso.
