Camerata Musicale Salentina/ Davide Alogna, Enrico Pace e Quartetto Eos

The 53rd concert season of the Camerata Musicale Salentina also makes room for chamber music. For the first time the Concerto for violin, piano and string quartet op. 21 by Ernest Chausson will be performed. The protagonists are two very talented soloists: violinist Davide Alogna and pianist Enrico Pace, accompanied by the young but already famous Eos Quartet, namely Elia Chiesa and Giacomo Del Papa on violin, Alessandro Acqui on viola and Silvia Ancarani on cello. Davide Alogna has an eclectic and international musical background, and is distinguished by his study, rediscovery and dissemination of the Italian 20th century repertoire. His efforts have brought to life several works by Respighi, Fano, Omizzolo and Castelnuovo-Tedesco. He plays a precious Carlo Antonio Testore from 1712. Enrico Pace was a pupil of Franco Scala, won first prize at the Franz Liszt International Competition in Utrecht, has played with the most prestigious international orchestras and has always flanked his solo commitments with an intense chamber music activity. He has recorded for the Sony BMG label alongside the famous violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann.
