Love is a delicate and complex subject, which must be handled with care and intelligence. But also with originality, from an alternative and irreverent point of view. Who better to do this than the multifaceted and volcanic personality of a guitarist, singer, creator and organiser of concerts and shows, presenter, writer and frontman of a Cuban-Salentine band? An ironic, histrionic, irreverent BeppElia untangles himself between affections and sliced meat, grappling with 'Love and its derivatives'. "Ma l'amore no" is a song-theatre show for guitar, songs, monologues and voice, by and with Beppe Elia above all. The spectators hold their breath and immerse themselves in apnoea for about ninety minutes in the music composed by Elia and Mino Toriano, the texts written by Siska Turrisi, Vittorio Vernaleone, Brunello Manfredi, Isaia Da Sacco and Beppe Elia, and the dreams of Francesco de Nicolò. The show is organised by Associazione Lecce 77, in collaboration with Arci Comitato territoriale di Lecce and the Municipality of Lecce.
