"Bonsoir" is Francesca Michielin's latest single and comes after the fresh success of the song "Nei tuoi occhi", for which she received a nomination at the David di Donatello and Nastri d'Argento 2022 in the "Best Original Song" category, written for the soundtrack of the film "Marylin has black eyes" starring Miriam Leone and Stefano Accorsi. "Bonsoir" is part of a new unreleased record project, celebrating 10 years since her victory on the stage of X Factor, the music talent show, of which the singer-songwriter from Veneto is the host of the new edition. As 'Michielin 10 a teatro', the subtitle of the theatrical tour that started on 25 February, on her birthday, clearly indicates. "Bonsoir is a very special song for me," explains the artist, originally from Bassano del Grappa, "because it revolves around the concept of panta rei, that is, everything flows. Like the river I talk about in the lyrics, which reminds me of the river near which I was born. There is a very important sentence in the lyrics, everything has changed but basically it is the same because ten years have passed since the beginning of this musical adventure of mine and now I am still here'.
