Baroque festival/ Mozart's sacred sonatas

It was the years between 1767 and 1780 when Mozart, in his early twenties, composed a series of sonatas of a religious character, almost all with a single movement Allegro, with a simple structure, intended to accompany ceremonies in churches or some social occasion in the Salzburg of the time. It was a very short compositional period, but today the sonatas are revived, in the sacred spaces of St. Anne's Church, on the occasion of the second Lecce stop of the Baroque festival "Leonardo Leo." Performing them is the Ensèmble Baroque Lumina featuring Paolo Cantamessa and Patrizio Focardi on violins, Gabriele Bracci on cello and Giacomo Benedetti on organ and as concertmaster.
