And on a summer evening... from melodrama to Neapolitan song

It is a journey that ranges from romances to the most beautiful choruses of the opera repertoire to the most famous Neapolitan and author's songs. The cloister of the Teatini, in the historical heart of the city, becomes the stage for 'E in una sera d'estate... dal melodramma alla canzone napoletana' (And on a summer's evening... from melodrama to Neapolitan song) thanks to the concert for solo choir and piano organised by the Lecce Opera Choir musical association. Performing during the evening are soprano Silvia Susan Rosato Franchini, tenor Gianni Leccese, mezzo-soprano Marinella Rizzo and bass Luciano Montanaro together with the Lecce Opera Choir and the Voci Bianche of the Lecce Opera Choir, accompanied on piano by Vincenzo Rana and conducted by Vincenza Baglivo. Guest of the evening will be soprano Katia Ricciarelli.
