Vive le cinéma/ Opening

The screen of Vive le cinéma, the French film festival, the only kermesse in Southern Italy dedicated to transalpine cinema, is back on. Conceived and directed by Scirocco Films, it is produced by the Apulia Film Commission and the Apulia Region, under the artistic direction of Angelo Laudisa, Alessandro Valenti and Brizia Minerva. The festival opens at the Apollo Theatre at 7pm and then kicks off with the screening of the first feature film: 'Les magnétiques' by Vincent Cardona (2021 - 98'). The film has as its protagonists two brothers and a free radio in the French province of the early 1980s, amidst the dreams and ideals of a dying world. At 10 p.m. there is a screening of the short film "Rouge Gorge" by Claire Doyon (2022 - 16') followed by "Et j'aime la fureur" by André Bonzel (2021 - 97').
