Vive le cinéma/ From screen to page

The section of the French film festival dedicated to cinema and books is entitled 'From the screen to the page'. In addition to the screenings taking place at the Apollo theatre, and the visual arts works in the spaces of the Castromediano museum, there will be meetings and the presentation of books that open up insights into the world of cinema and its surroundings, curated by Luca Bandirali, lecturer in Cinema, Photography and Television at the University of Salento. The first meeting at the Liberrima bookstore is with Roberto De Gaetano and his "Critica del visuale" (Orthotes Editrice). The book investigates the necessity and dynamics of criticism "a practice that articulates the field of public discussion in distinct positions, avoiding uniformity and conformism".
