Teatini Cinema/ Immensity

Rome, the 1970s. Buildings and palaces are springing up everywhere and changing the skyline of the eternal city. It is here that Emanuele Crialese's return to directing is set with 'L'immensità', a film named after the song by Don Backy and Johnny Dorelli, later revived in the splendid version by Mina. The real protagonists are family ties, difficult, inextricable and often at odds with the legitimate desire for freedom. That of Clara and Felice, who despite the end of their marriage are unable to separate, and that of Adriana, the eldest daughter, who refuses her identity and wants to convince everyone that she is a boy. The film is screened in the Teatini cloister for the cinema under the stars festival organised by the DB d'Essai and in collaboration with the City Council, Culture Department and Entertainment Department.
