On Wednesdays, the 'Teatini cinema' festival presents 'Award-winning cinema', i.e. films that have won prestigious awards at the most important film festivals.

On the big screen is "The Worst Person in the World", directed in 2021 by Joachim Trier and winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival. In 121 minutes, the story unfolds of the last four years of the existence of Julie who, now approaching her thirties, cannot find her place in the world. She still hasn't decided what profession to pursue, not to mention her love life, which proves punctually disastrous with each new boyfriend. When she meets Aksel, a 45-year-old successful author, Julie believes she has finally found stability, at least in love. But to upset her plans comes the charming Eivind, who casts strong doubts on her relationship. Julie must first learn to look inside herself, to understand who she really is and what she wants to do with her life.
