TEATINI CINEMA/ The French Dispatch

Visionary, surreal and ironic. Wes Anderson returns to amaze with "The French Dispatch," a film that landed in theaters this winter and was screened under the sky at "Teatini Cinema" for the festival curated by the Lecce DB d'Essai, in collaboration with the Lecce City Council. Set in a fictitious year of the twentieth century, the film revolves around the stories gathered by a small French newsroom in which the editor-in-chief passes away. The editorial staff thus gathers to write his obituary and from there retrace the four stories that made the newspaper's history: "The Cyclist Reporter," "The Concrete Masterpiece," "Revision to a Manifesto," and "The Police Commissioner's Private Dining Room." On screen is a stellar cast with such actors as Benicio Del Toro, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, Frances McDomand, Edward Norton, Angelica Huston, Morgane Polanski, Elisabeth Moss and many more.
Beginning at 9 p.m., with box office opening and entrance to the cloister from 8 p.m.
