After biopics on "Jackie" and "Neruda," the director turns his camera on Diana Spencer "imagining" those three days in 1991, during the Christmas vacations at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, when the princess made the decision to end her marriage. The royal family is reunited, the mood is relaxed and laid back, and Diana has a chance to reflect and take courage in two hands to evade the "royal protocol" that forces her into a life she no longer wants.
