For Teatini Cinema in the cloister of the former monastery screens "Grazie ragazzi," a 117-minute 2023 comedy starring Antonio Albanese and Sonia Bergamasco, directed by Riccardo Milani. Antonio, an unemployed actor, accepts a job offered to him by an old friend and colleague, far more shrewd than him. He will be the teacher of a theater workshop inside a penitentiary institution. After initial skepticism, he discovers talent in the unlikely company of inmates, which awakens in him a passion and desire to do theater. So much so that he convinces the strict prison warden to stage Samuel Beckett's play "Waiting for Godot" on a real theater stage outside the prison walls. The film received 2 nominations and won an award at the Silver Ribbons.
