Teatini Cinema/ Forgetful

Orlando is a piano tuner. He is a mild-mannered, lonely, in fact, lonely man. Following a severe pain in his back, he is forced to resort to a physiotherapist -- a bit peculiar. It is titled "Forgetful" the film by and with Rocco Papaleo that runs on the big screen of "Teatini Cinema," a festival curated by DB d'Essai made in collaboration with the City Council. It will be Olga (singer Giorgia on loan to the cinema) who diagnoses Orlando with an "emotional contracture" and asks him to bring a photo of himself as a young man in order to trace the origin of his ailments. Thus begins for the protagonist a journey into the past, into his soul, into his unfinished relationships, into the wounds that made him the somewhat sad and contracture-filled man he is today.
