TEATINI CINEMA/ Finale a sorpresa

For "Teatini Cinema," the summer arena of DB d'Essai in collaboration with the City of Lecce, "Chosen by the Audience," films selected by viewers through an online poll, will be screened every Thursday. On screen is the comedy "Surprise Finale-Official Competition," directed in 2021 by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, starring Penélope Cruz, Antonio Banderas and Oscar Martìnez. Lola Cuevas is a famous as well as eccentric filmmaker who has been entrusted with the direction of a film by a very wealthy entrepreneur, a megalomaniac who is determined to leave his name in history.

The undertaking is so ambitious that it requires the hiring of the greatest acting talents. For this reason, Lola hires two stars of the film firmament: Hollywood womanizing star Félix Rivero and committed theater champion Iván Torres. Two actors at polar opposites, but both legendary, with unparalleled charisma and egos, forced by Lola to face hilarious and original trials that will put them to the ultimate test.

Beginning at 9 pm, with box office opening and entrance to the cloister from 8 pm.
