TEATINI CINEMA/ 7 Women and a Mystery

The fifth edition of the outdoor festival Teatini Cinema offers audiences art-house films from the season just past. Every Tuesday, "Italian Cinema" is celebrated with the best of the latest made-in-Italy film production. "7 Women and a Mystery" is an 82-minute comedy from 2021, directed by Alessandro Genovesi, with an exceptional cast that includes Margherita Buy, Diana Del Bufalo, Sabrina Impacciatore, Micaela Ramazzotti, Luisa Ranieri and Ornella Vanoni. An entrepreneur, married with daughters, is mysteriously murdered in his villa. During the hours following the murder, all the women who, in one way or another, played a role in his life are gathered in the victim's home. Instead of celebrating Christmas Eve, as was the plan, they find themselves with a murder to solve. All of them are suspects, and as each of them throws mud at the others, they are forced to face situations hitherto skillfully dodged. But who is the murderer?
