Flavia Mastrella/ The Law

"Promoting cinema and its places", organised by Aps Spazio 44 and Apulia Film Commission, is the two-day event dedicated to performer and actor Antonio Rezza and director, set designer and sculptor Flavia Mastrella. The two artists, winners of the Golden Lion at the Venice Theatre Biennale in 2018, are the protagonists on Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 February with their latest film works: "La Legge" and "Samp". A multi-voice video reading of the Italian Constitution (1972 edition for local authorities), "La Legge" stems from the urgency to tell the story of Flavia Mastrella, who is the experimental director, with Barbara Faonio at the acrobatic editing and Stefano Falcone at the audio mix. As many as 190 people interpret the reading of an article of our constitutional charter with their mobile phones. From a terrible weapon for exterminating emotional tension in presence, the mobile phone is thus transformed into an extraordinary creative medium at a distance.
