
Days of European cinema / Quo vadis, Aida?

Tasty preview of the European Film Festival, regularly scheduled for next autumn. Meanwhile, cinephiles can enjoy “Days of European cinema”, an event organized with the support of the European Parliament and linked to the second edition of the “Lux” Audience Award. Eight days, five of which are dedicated to students and three tout public. In room 2 of the Massimo cinema, the three finalist films are presented and screened for three Wednesdays in a row between April and May. At the end, the in-depth debate.
The competition opens with "Quo vadis, Aida?" by Jasmila Zbanic, a co-production from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Netherlands, France, Poland, Germany, Romania, Turkey in 2020 of 103 '. Aida is from Srebrenica and she is a translator for the military of the coalition commissioned in 1995 by the UN to restore peace to Bosnia. Her work allows her to learn about the terrible fate that hangs over her people. What can she do to change events?

Tickets for the final ceremony of the “Lux” Audience Award, scheduled for June 8 in Strasbourg at the European Parliament, are drawn from all European citizens who have expressed their preference.
