Under a sky of stars and surrounded by the arches of the cloister of the Teatini, in the heart of the city, the screen is showing "The Elephant Man", by David Lynch. London, second half of the 19th century. Due to a very rare disease, neurofibromatosis, that gave him a monstrous appearance, a young John Merrick is exposed as an 'elephant man' in the Bytes show, which lives off his monstrosity. It is here that Merrick is discovered by Dr Frederick Treves, a surgeon at the London Hospital, who convinces Bytes to hand him over in order to study and treat him. Taken to the hospital, John soon reveals himself to be a man of superior intelligence and a refined and sensitive soul.
