Body, ritual, word. The theatre of Pier Paolo Pasolini

A two-day conference, 25 speakers, a theatre workshop and a final public meeting. This is the tribute of the University of Salento and the Koreja Theatre to Pier Paolo Pasolini on the centenary of his birth. The study conference "Corpo, rito, parola. The theatre of Pier Paolo Pasolini", curated by Francesco Ceraolo, Arianna Frattali and Maria Chiara Provenzano, is promoted by the University of Salento and organised by the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Palchetti Laterali association, in collaboration with the DAMS, the Doctorate in Cultural Heritage Sciences and the Koreja Theatre. It has the patronage of the National Committee for the centenary of Pier Paolo Pasolini's birth, set up by the Mic, and the Pier Paolo Pasolini Study Centre of Casarsa della Delizia. The two days of studies will feature important speakers, including Oliviero Ponte Di Pino (author for Radio 3 Rai and president of Ateatro), Stefano Casi (author of numerous Pasolini volumes and artistic director of Teatri di Vita) and Stefania Rimini (professor of cinema at the University of Catania). The proposal is enriched by a theatre workshop, held on the same days at the Koreja Theatre by the director Fabio Condemi, Ubu prize for direction in 2021.
