20 years without Bene/Lecce Baroque – Capricci

Among the lesser-known works of Carmelo Bene there is "Barocco leccese", screened in theaters in June 1968 and "built" as a real documentary: in the film, Bene's lyric is combined with the stone embroidery of the basilica of Santa Cross. The film is shown in the rooms of the Castromediano Museum in Lecce for “Contro il cinema. Review on Carmelo Bene's cinema ", by Professor Emiliano Morreale, professor at the La Sapienza University of Rome. The appointment is part of the cycle of events organized by the Carmelo Bene Archive and the Biblio-museum complex in Lecce.
