Thirty-one works plus four dedicated to women. This is the art, protest and courageous resistance of the young Amany Al-Ali, a cartoonist who continues to draw under a sky of bombs in Idlib. Her lashing and bitterly ironic works are collected in the exhibition "Life on one leg. 10 years of war in Syria" set up in the spaces of the Bernardini Library thanks to the association Diffondiamo idee di valore, in collaboration with the festival Conversazioni sul futuro and the Polo Biblio-Museale OF Lecce. "I draw to testify to the world the crime of Bashar al-Assad, of those who help him and of those who are on his side", says the artist, who makes every stroke, every caricature, every element that makes up his drawings a denunciation to be shouted to the world.
