Mirco Marchelli. Chapter voices

Mirco Marchelli. Chapter voices

Visual artist and composer Mirco Marchelli "pervades" the spaces of the Biscozzi Rimbaud Foundation with an ad hoc exhibition: a piece in three parts, corresponding to as many modern madrigals, for six mixed voices, on texts by Edoardo Sanguineti that not only accompany the visit to the exhibition but are an integral part of it in close connection with the 18 polymathic works, divided into three groups of six (one for each room). "Voci in capitolo", curated by Paolo Bolpagni and Giovanni Battista Martini, brings together Marchelli's two artistic personalities, "it is the extrinsic expression and testimony of a true total work of art, of supreme grace and wit", says Bolpagni. The music and aesthetic essence of the materials used, often salvaged such as pieces of wood, fabric, flagpoles, imbued with a sort of sweet and measured evocation become, together with the painting, visual lyricism, an inner vision. Marchelli declines the memory, the previous lives in new forms and suggestions, making one perceive 'only' an unusual aftertaste.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.; the last Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.

Tickets: full price 5 euro (including a visit to the Foundation's permanent exhibition); 3 euro for a visit to the exhibition only.
