Memoriae

Taking its cue from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the "Memoriae" project, a path of reflection on historical memory curated by The Monuments People cooperative.
Engaged for several years in the collection and narration of stories and episodes of the contemporary history of the Salento area from the Second World War to the present, the cooperative has developed themes such as reception, integration and human rights both in reference to the laws that regulate them and by telling stories of people. "Memoriae," created by Alessandro Raeli, is an audiovisual installation, an emotional journey that offers an empathetic approach to the various themes revolving around people's fundamental rights. Rights, inalienable, that are not and should not remain mere enunciations but concrete application.
The tour is free and open from 5 to 8 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
For groups and school groups every day of the week by reservation.
