Valentina Vetturi, an artist from Calabria, born in 1979, has decided to go beyond, or rather, to the origin of the imposing beauty of the Putignano Carnival. She arrives in the spaces of the Castromediano Museum with the video installation "La carta ricorda" (The paper remembers). A long, fascinating and visceral work conducted in the ateliers of the artisans, usually the fulcrum of the strong competition that characterises the period preceding the great Putignano Carnival. The result is a collection of 11 videos from which emerge personal and collective memories, creative processes rooted in a distant time.
