Camerata musicale salentina/ Anbeta Toromani

The third Camerata Musicale Salentina event is on the pointe. On stage at the Apollo Theatre is 'Preludes', a three-part piano dance featuring Anbeta Toromani, Alessandro Macario and Amilcar Moret Gonzalez, three of Italy's best-loved dancers. And everything 'revolves' around the 'prelude', on the thread of iconic music from the piano repertoire of Bach, Chopin, Debussy and Rachmaninov, performed live by pianist Sofia Vasheruk. The performance programme is then completed by a choreography on Bach's famous 'Chaconne in D minor' in Ferruccio Busoni's piano transcription. The focus, however, is on Anbeta Toromani, known to the general public for her participation in 'Amici di Maria De Filippi', where she later remained as prima ballerina and then as a judge. She will be joined on stage by Alessandro Macario, who has been a member of the Teatro alla Scala company and has also danced in several principal roles at the Teatro Comunale in Florence, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, and Amilcar Moret Gonzalez, former prima ballerina at the Bavarian State Ballet, Les Ballets de Montecarlo, the Zurich Ballet and the Hamburg Ballet.
In order to make it possible for children to attend the concert with their children, CMS is offering a music workshop for children aged 6 and up, held simultaneously in the theatre's auditorium. The cost ranges from 8 to 10 euros per child, with the possibility of attending the performance.
Tickets: from 12 to 27 euros on sale at CMS, online and in Vivaticket circuit sales outlets.
