FAI SPRING DAYS/Cerrate Abbey

The Fai Days of Spring represent a bit of a metaphorical greeting to winter and a great desire for beauty, and for this reason they are expected as we await the summer. Following the volunteers of the Italian Environmental Fund, visitors can discover the wonders of the city as the treasure chest of art and culture of the Cerrate abbey. The authentic oriental soul of Salento. A melting pot of cultures and religions. First abbey, scriptorium and cultural center, then a flourishing and productive masseria, which has returned to fascinate in all its Romanesque splendor. A few years ago, the prestigious complex has come back to life and shine thanks to Fai, which takes care of and manages it.

Guided tours are organized by Fai and take place on Saturday 26th from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
