Open Art

Aida Dzhafarova and Anastasiia Artiukhina, of Russian nationality, and Kristina Alpatova, of Ukraine. They are the three students who kick off "Open Art", a project created by Must in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce which aims to give visibility to emerging international talents who attend the Academy. And the nationality of the three artists, in these times of war, certainly does not go unnoticed but it is art, once again, that launches a social and political message capable of unhinging horror and creating beauty, to unite in gesture expressive and in the urge to communicate one's deepest feeling. The exhibition, set up in the spaces of the Must Off Gallery, between contemporary art, design and artisan tradition, offers a harmonious vision of the "making art" of the three, enhancing at the same time peculiarities of style and interpretative sensitivity. "The works of the three artists are colorful and multiform, without interruption", explains the curator Patrizia Staffiero, "the works arouse amazement, returning a shocking effect for sensitivity and desire for sharing and cooperation, which is expressed in a sisterly feeling" .
