World Poetry Day/ Lampo Giramondo

Two days dedicated to "making verse". On the occasion of World Poetry Day established by Unesco, the Lecce Biblio-Museum Pole and the Bernardini Library Poetry Observatory are organising two days dedicated to the poetic word, this year intended as a tool for conveying messages of peace. The first guest in the spaces of the Bernardini Library is Lampo Giramondo, or D. Ibrahima, who brings his book 'Poetry is Life. Verses, reflections, stories, encounters" (L'officina delle parole ed.). Between the pages we find the Senegalese author's long journey, in a mixture of languages, English, French, Italian, Salento dialect, Wolof, which tells of encounters and experiences, also, along the roads of poetry. Discussing with "Lampo Giramondo" are Pompea Vergaro, Mauro Marino and Pamela Serafino, while the narrator's voice is that of Annamaria Colomba.
Free entrance.
