To those who still know how to look at the stars/ Giuseppe Ponzi

Elena and Sergio meet on a late summer morning on a beach in Salento. She is a brilliant young heart surgeon with a keen sense for fragile children, he a photojournalist always travelling the world on the hunt for exciting stories. The two fall in love at first sight, but life soon presents its bill. Elena returns to the operating theatre, while Sergio leaves for a photographic reportage in Africa. Their paths move further and further apart in opposite directions, until a sudden event makes their destinies cross again and forcefully. Giuseppe Ponzi, author of "A chi ancora sa guardare le stelle" (Esperidi) presents his novel in dialogue with Paolo Di Giannantonio, journalist and TV producer, and Marianna Balfour, press office manager of the Sacred Order of Malta. Mariangela Simone, doctor at the 'Francesco Ferrari' hospital in Casarano, will moderate. The event is organised in collaboration with the Salento group of Emergency. Free entrance.
