The Big Scam/ Maria Gabriella de Judicibus

The Auditorium of the Castromediano Museum hosts the presentation of Maria Gabriella de Judicibus' latest book, 'La grande truffa', (Edizioni Albatros). Ettore Bambi will dialogue with the author, coordinating the debate animated by projections by Francesco Zarcone. The novel, almost a theatrical script composed of 9 movements against the backdrop of the Adriatic Sea, recounts the attempt by three young idealistic and visionary intellectuals to carry out a great scam for good, to turn the spotlight on an area with great potential, never fully exploited. The evening's programme also included a small sample of the travelling exhibition 'Marine, a self-portrait' and a tasting of the baroque cake 'rosone di Santa Croce' and 'vinarieddhi' by chef Maria Carla Pennetta, accompanied by wines from the Quarta Cellars.

The proceeds from the sale of copies of the book will be entirely donated to the Pro Loco Lecce's "Progetto Delfino", aimed at disabled people bathing on a free beach with a Job chair. Free entrance. Info: 0832/683503 (Museum); 346/2198248 (Pro Loco Lecce).
