Snapshots from the Sahara / Ugo Mellone

The large and arid spaces of the desert, monotonous only in appearance, are revealed and told in the photos of Ugo Mellone, a free lance photographer from Lecce at home in Granada. Between "erg", the sandy environments, and "reg", the mountain environments, Mellone has plowed through dunes and kilometers, then publishing his photographic book "Sahara, erg - reg" which he presents in the spaces of the Palmieri Foundation. Its objective thus becomes "revealing" of the most shy and elusive living beings, able to survive in extreme and almost prohibitive conditions for humans.
