Literature is on stage at Astràgali Teatro for the 'Teatri a Sud' (Theatres in the South) review. For Musicaos, journalist and writer Raffaele Gorgoni presents his latest book 'Repertorio degli eccentrici dell'estremo Sud Est'. The definition of the eccentric at the beginning of the book acts as a guide to understanding the varied humanity that is the protagonist of the unpublished stories, between reportage and fiction, below that ideal parallel that passes through Otranto and Gallipoli, encompassing the extreme Salento south of Maglie. There, characters of various backgrounds live on the run, with an inner world in constant mutation, conquering the freedom of a second chance. The author skilfully mixes reality and imagination, drawing on his passions for travel, art and literature, in an infinity of learned quotations, curious anecdotes and dazzling details. Raffaele Gorgoni is joined by UniSalento lecturer Simone Giorgino, publisher Luciano Pagano and Astràgali artistic director Fabio Tolledi.
