Ramondo lo scudiero/ Antonio Chirico

Raimondello Orsini del Balzo, the cadet son of Count Orsini, who lived in the Kingdom of Naples between the 14th and 15th centuries, is a recurring character in the Salento's vicissitudes. He escaped from an ecclesiastical career to become a munificent and far-sighted ruler. "Ramondo the Squire. L'avventurosa storia di Raimondello Orsini del Balzo", by Antonio Chirico, is the protagonist of the evening, as part of the "Agostiniani Libri" review organised by the Culture Department, in the company of the author and Pompea Vergaro and Antonio Leucci. Readings by Annamaria Colomba.
