Quello che ti nascondevo/ Marina Di Guardo

What if those who are close to us hide terrible secrets? From this question develops the plot of Marina Di Guardo's latest work, “Quello che ti nascondevo” (Mondadori). Giacomo owns a jewellery brand, and is widower of Allegra, who fell from a cliff overlooking Lake Como. Since his wife is no longer with him, every single day he just seeks to come back home, where he listens at full volume to the voice messages his wife has sent him over the years. One evening, however, among the messages, Giacomo notices a detail he had never noticed before: the voice of a man, whom he does not know. What was Allegra hiding from him? Is it possible then that her death was not just a tragic fatality? The answer lies between the pages of the Sicilian-born writer's latest thriller, presented at the Sala Polifunzionale Open Space, in the heart of Piazza Sant'Oronzo, in the presence of the councillor for Culture Fabiana Cicirillo. Discussing with the author are UniSalento lecturer Mario Carparelli and cultural animator Barbara Donarini.
