Photographs. Verisimilar tales of stories and people/ Alessandro Afrune

Alessandro Afrune presents his first literary work, 'Fotografie. Verisimilar tales of stories and people', published by Edizioni Esperidi. The stories told stem from a series of old photographs, with the subjects more or less aware that they are being filmed. The protagonists' lives intertwine unpredictably, outlining the picture of an ancient South, with indefinite geographical and temporal boundaries.  Afrune is passionate about music and poetry, so much so that from a very young age he followed a personal path of study and knowledge of these disciplines, which led him to develop a particular sensitivity towards art in all its forms. He is the author of theatrical and musical performances and a profound connoisseur of the music of the great Italian singer-songwriters. His characteristic is to write through images in an introspective dimension, using a direct and intense language. Luigi De Luca, director of the Lecce biblio-museum pole, dialogues with the author. Readings are by Marica Rizzo, in the presence of the publisher Claudio Martino.
