You read, you leaf through, you put it down, you pick it up again and you start reading again. Sometimes, in order to find the point where the reading was interrupted, or to make a mark on a particular page, the author bends the corner of the page slightly. These are the famous "orecchie", that is “little ears” of which Luigi Mazzotta speaks in his book, a sort of literary journey to find engaging passages and return to emotions.
